Later we find the Spirit of God causing men to Prophesy.

The Lord tells us that this Spirit concists of these Attributes.Īll came upon certain people, to build, or supply the needed materials for building the Tabernacle.

In Exodus 35, we find the Lord giving the Spirit of God to certain men to build His Tabernacle or house, His Church, or todays Body of Christ. The first Spirit we see in the Bible is the Spirit of God, He moves upon the waters in Genesis one. All can be recognized by their Natures, Characters and Attributes.Īs we delve into Gods Word, ask the Lord for Wisdom and Understanding. The first thing we must agree on is “God” is One and “God” is Three in One and “God”, (the New Testament, Deity or Trinity), is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He that hath the Seven Spirits is the Lamb, Jesus. “ And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.” “ And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.” “ And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.” I believe we can find the Seven Spirits of “God”, (The Deity or Trinity), by looking at their Natures, Attributes and Character. Now the Father and Son and Spirit, are one, but with different Natures, Attributes and Characters, (explained in post, “Jesus in the Old Testament”).

In the New Testament the word “God” is from the Greek and means “Deity or Trinity”, and I believe discribes primarily the Father or Lord (Yahway or Jehovah) of the Old Testament, in the New. To further complicate our understanding the word “God” in the Old Testament is from the Hebrew, Elohim and means “Creator, Supreme Ruler”, “Adoni”, also means “Supreme Ruler” (used for God or a man who rules), and discribes The work and life of Jesus in the Old Testament. The Spiritual – As if the mystery of God wasn’t deep enough, (the Trinity), He had to add that there are seven Spirits of “God”.
